Shahnam Izadpanah

Born on June 17th 1990 in Wiesbaden, as the second child of Iranian parents, who emigrated to Europe following the Persian Revolution, Shahnam Izadpanah grew up in Mainz, where he began his Bachelor's degree in Sociology and History, which he was able to continue and to complete in a consecutive Master's degree at the University of Darmstadt. Next to his studies, he also examined other branches of knowledge, which particularly cover the fields of Philosophy, Theology, and the History of religions. The in-depth study made for this is expressed in the publication of ten nonfiction books so far.

His approach to educational science and pedagogy, which at the same time led him to deal more intensively with the question of true ethics of learning, inevitably awakened in him the desire to contribute to the process of preparing future generations for their life's tasks and the responsibilities they have for their fellow human beings, as well as to sharpen their awareness to independent thinking in order to differentiate between contructive and destructive forces in their environment.

At present, his research focuses on the study of the 'Reality of the Human Being' - his free will, his consciousness, the exercise of his reason, his individuality, destiny, development and his essentially required threefold constituted moral, intellectual and physical educational process.

Shahnam is also passionate about poetry, writing lyrics inspired by the concepts and pinciples of the Bahá'í revelation. He has been married to his wife Olivia since 2012.2012, who has always been a co-worker in his efforts and a source of inspiration in his service. According to the teachings of the Bahá'í-faith, which are centered on the principle of the unity of mankind, Shahnam considers himself a citizen of the world, whose task it is to contribute - together with his fellow human beings - to the progress and well-being of the entire body of society.
